Studio Winterich completed a major public art commission by Ellis Partners for their new hi-rise at the corner of Broadway and 12th Street in Oakland. Our work is along the storefront of this 18 story building designed by Gensler. Forty-four kiln-formed glass panels measure 11 feet tall by 45″ wide. Inspired by the geometry of an acorn cap (Oakland was once covered by live oaks), the glass walls span 91 feet along Broadway and 74 feet along 12th Street.
