“Resignal” was developed to express the core work at Maxim Technologies. Maxim is a semiconductor company specializing in translating analog signals into digital signals and back to analog. Maxim’s custom-designed semiconductor chips are found in thousands of devices, including iPhones, audio/ visual equipment, environmental controls, and sound systems. Located at the center of the new corporate campus, this water wall is the focal point of the main outdoor courtyard. The sculpture radiates a deep blue light from the hand-painted glass at night. By contrast, the concentric dichroic glass rings reflect a specular golden light.
