Studio Winterich completes Public Art Installation at new Mercedes-Benz R&D Offices

Daniel Winterich completed his second public art sculpture for a private development in the city of Sunnyvale. “Crescent” finds its roots in the shimmer of sunlight off the crescent shaped slough waterways and the crystalline salty shore of Sunnyvale. The leaning form and pointed top of the crescent shape sculpture angles north-east toward Twin Creeks along Sunnyvale’s north shore. Mimicking the effect of sunlight reflected off water, the sculpture’s sparkling light follows the viewer as they walk by.
