This leaded glass skylight is at the top of a three-story elliptical stairwell. Elliptical walls below the skylight capture prismatic light from the skylight’s bevels, jewels, and German mouthblown glass. The pattern was inspired by Michaelangelo’s design for the Piazza del Compidoglio paving in Rome, Italy.
